Shanalex Alarms is a local company which provides services to Ottawa and the surrounding area. 

Our team has over 30 years of experience. 

The owner of the company, Chuck McDonald, was working as a police detective in the break and enter section(burglary) where he would see the same homes broken into regurlarly. He quickly realized that the cost of owning an alarm system was much less than what many consumers were being charged. Chuck felt drawn to assist home owners in Ottawa with their security needs and decided to pass the savings on to the customer so that they would be able to protect themselves and their belongings. For many this meant that they could now afford a product and service that was previously too expensive.  

Knowing the criminal element of burglary coupled with the skills and techniques of the most experienced staff is what has always given Shanalex Alarms the edge. A once small company that was designed to help family and friends has grown to become one of the most respected security companies in Ottawa with unmatched customer service. 

We don't use contracts because we believe in our work and if you're not happy with our service then we insist that you cancel.
